We could not verify a single crypto casino that carries an official Wizard of Oz slot as of October 2026, so this page does not list one. The licensed games are made by Light & Wonder (formerly WMS) for regulated markets, and online they appear at operators such as BetMGM in the US and Ontario and at UK-licensed sites. Below is what we checked, why the game is missing from crypto lobbies, and how to test any site that claims to have it.
What we checked
On 7 October 2026 we searched the lobbies of the crypto casinos our sister site has verified, looking for any game from Light & Wonder, WMS or NYX with The Wizard of Oz in its name. We also reviewed Light & Wonder’s catalogue for each Oz title’s jurisdiction tags.
| Crypto casino | Licence (as verified) | Official Oz title in lobby? |
|---|---|---|
| Stake | Curaçao Gaming Authority OGL/2024/1451/0918 (Medium Rare N.V.) | Not found |
| BC.Game | Anjouan ALSI-202410011-FI1 (Twocent Technology Limited) | Not found |
| BitStarz | Curaçao Gaming Authority OGL/2024/165/0185 (Gareton B.V.) | Not found |
| 7Bit Casino | Tobique Gaming Commission 0000091 (Saphirix Solutions SRL) for most visitors | Not found |
| mBit Casino | Curaçao Gaming Authority OGL/2024/1307/0748 (Scores55 Tech B.V.) | Not found |
| FortuneJack | Anjouan ALSI-202411021-FI1 (PlayWave SRL) | Not found |
| Koru Casino | Tobique Gaming Commission 0000002 (Novatrix SRL) | Not found |
| Winz.io | Anjouan ALSI-202508056-FI2 (Novatrix SRL) | Not found |
A search like this can miss a game hidden behind a region filter, so “not found” means we could not confirm it, not that it is impossible. Even so, the result matches what the maker says about its own distribution, explained next. If you see an official title at any of these sites, tell us via the contact page and we will check it.
Why the official games stay out of crypto lobbies
Three facts from Light & Wonder’s own material explain it:
- The licence. On 12 July 2023 Light & Wonder announced an expanded multi-year licensing deal with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Themed Entertainment, with titles “set to hit regulated markets worldwide” through its OpenGaming platform. The Wizard of Oz: Road to Emerald City was named as a land-based hit due online.
- The jurisdiction tags. Light & Wonder’s catalogue page for The Wizard of Oz Emerald City is tagged to Alderney, Belgium, Gibraltar, Greece, Malta, New Jersey, Quebec and the UK; Ruby Slippers DUAL to Gibraltar, Greece, Malta and the UK. No Curaçao, Anjouan or Tobique tag appears on either.
- The exclusive. On 5 March 2025 Light & Wonder said its new Wizard of Oz slots were exclusively available at BetMGM Casino, starting in New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario.
Branded film content generally comes with tight rules on where it may be shown, and big studios have little reason to risk a valuable licence on unregulated markets. That, more than any technical barrier, is why the crypto version players look for does not appear.
Where the official games are legally played
For completeness, here is where the licensed online titles run, stated as fact rather than as a recommendation. Readers in these places should use operators licensed there and check local rules on age and payments.
| Market | What is offered | Note |
|---|---|---|
| New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania (US) | Over the Rainbow at BetMGM since March 2025 | Physically in the state to play |
| Ontario (Canada) | Over the Rainbow at BetMGM | Launch market named by Light & Wonder |
| Great Britain | Emerald City and Ruby Slippers DUAL tagged for the UK; listed at UK-licensed sites such as Slingo | UK Gambling Commission licence required |
| Malta, Gibraltar, Alderney, Belgium, Greece, Quebec | Catalogue tags for Emerald City | Approval tag, not a list of casinos |
| Casino floors worldwide | Land-based cabinets such as Over the Rainbow and I’ll Get You My Pretty | Not applicable |
A catalogue tag means the game is approved for that market, not that every casino there carries it. Each operator picks its own lobby. The Road to Emerald City online release that Light & Wonder announced in 2023 has no catalogue page we could find yet, so we cannot say where it will appear; we will update this table when the maker publishes one.
Testing a casino that says it has Wizard of Oz
Some lobbies show a game with an Oz name from a studio other than Light & Wonder. Before depositing anywhere on the strength of a “Wizard of Oz” tile, run four checks:
- Provider name. Open the game’s info screen. Light & Wonder, WMS or NYX is the official source; any other studio means a different game.
- Trademark notice. Light & Wonder prints “THE WIZARD OF OZ and all related characters and elements © & ™ Turner Entertainment Co.” with its Oz titles.
- RTP match. Emerald City should show 95.95%, Ruby Slippers DUAL 95.36%, as in the maker’s catalogue.
- Licence behind the casino. Check the operator’s licence (next section). If the licence is from a market the maker does not tag, ask how the game got there.
Playing a lookalike is not wrong, but none of the figures on our Wizard of Oz slot review or our RTP and odds page apply to it.
How to check a crypto casino’s licence
Most crypto casinos hold offshore licences, and each regulator works differently:
- Curaçao. The Curaçao Gaming Authority (cga.cw) issues OGL licence numbers under the national gaming law in force since 24 December 2024. The CGA does not mediate individual disputes: you complain to the casino first, then to one of its certified ADR bodies. The CGA has also reported unauthorised access to its portal in September 2026 while saying existing licences remain valid.
- Anjouan. Check the licence through the seal on the casino’s own site, by its seal ID; a bare-domain lookup on the register does not work. The authority does not handle complaints itself: they go through the seal to the operator, then to an ADR service the operator pays for.
- Tobique. The Tobique Gaming Commission seal links to a validator page that shows the licence number and status.
Then read the terms for the company name, the restricted-country list and the withdrawal rules. A casino that excludes your country in its terms can refuse to pay out, whatever its marketing says.
Depositing crypto at any casino: the safe sequence
- Confirm the casino accepts players from your country and that its licence checks out.
- In the cashier, choose the coin and, separately, the network (for example USDT on Tron versus Ethereum). Sending on the wrong network can lose the funds.
- Copy the deposit address exactly, or scan the QR code; send a small test amount first.
- Note the minimum deposit for that coin: amounts below it may not be credited.
- Wait for the required confirmations before playing, and keep the transaction ID.
- Set deposit and loss limits in your account before the first bet.
In the EU, the travel rule in Regulation (EU) 2023/1113 applies from 30 December 2024: when a transfer of more than €1,000 goes to or from a self-hosted wallet, the exchange must assess whether that wallet is owned or controlled by its customer, so expect questions on larger moves. Coin prices also move while funds sit in a casino balance; a stablecoin removes that swing.
Withdrawals: the part to read before depositing
Payout rules matter more than the lobby. Limits and timings differ widely between crypto casinos, and they sit in the terms, not on the banner. A few examples from terms we checked on 7 October 2026:
- BitStarz states a target of paying withdrawals within one hour where possible.
- Foxy Gold sets default withdrawal limits of €4,000 a day and €10,000 a week.
- Tenobet, Dracula Casino and Kingdom Casino, run by the same operator, cap withdrawals at €1,000 a day and €10,000 a month (terms section 6.13).
Expect identity checks before a first large withdrawal at almost any licensed casino, crypto or not. Send documents early rather than when a win is waiting, and withdraw to the same wallet you deposited from where the casino asks for it. If a payout stalls, follow the complaint route for that licence described above, keeping the transaction IDs and chat logs as evidence.
Old casino pages on this site
Earlier versions of this site ran a list of 15 casinos with “Spin Now” buttons and individual pages for each, plus pages on NetEnt and WMS. None of those casinos was shown to carry the official game, and Wizard of Oz has never been a NetEnt slot. Those pages now lead here. The WMS history is on our review page, free options on the free play page, and offers on the bonus page.
Our recommendation
If what you want is the official Wizard of Oz slot, the honest route is the maker’s free demo, or a casino licensed where you live if your market carries it. If what you want is a crypto casino, choose one on its licence, terms and payout record, and accept that this particular game will not be in the lobby. Play only with money you can afford to lose, and see our responsible gambling page for limits and free help.
Questions about Wizard of Oz casinos
Which crypto casinos have the Wizard of Oz slot?
None that we could verify. We looked for an official Light & Wonder or WMS Wizard of Oz title at Stake, BC.Game, BitStarz, 7Bit, mBit, FortuneJack, Koru Casino and Winz.io in October 2026 and found none, so we list no casino for it.
Why is Wizard of Oz hard to find at crypto casinos?
The licensed games are made by Light & Wonder under a Warner Bros. Discovery licence, and Light & Wonder says those branded titles are released to regulated markets. Its catalogue tags the online Oz games to licensed jurisdictions such as the UK, Malta, Gibraltar and New Jersey.
Is Wizard of Oz a NetEnt slot?
No. Old pages on this site filed it under NetEnt, which was wrong. The Wizard of Oz slots come from WMS, now part of Light & Wonder, and the online versions run on its NYX servers.
How do I check a crypto casino’s licence?
Find the licence number and seal in the site footer and open the seal: a Curaçao Gaming Authority licence can be checked on cga.cw, and Anjouan or Tobique seals must be checked through the seal link itself. Then read the terms for the operating company and the list of restricted countries.
Can I deposit crypto at the casinos that do carry Wizard of Oz?
We know of none that carries the official game and takes crypto. The operators that carry it are licensed in markets such as the UK, Ontario and US states and use the payment methods their regulators allow, so check each casino’s own cashier page.
